Both sides sounded very rusty, trying to outdo each other with errors, but we're off the mark at least. :thumb:

Errors weren't too bad in those conditions, played some nice rugby at times.

Thought Wynne was outstanding, has so much potential, like the look of Lovodua and Sataes 2nd spell was outstanding.

Good move extending Wynne's contract. Definitely got something about him. Great attitude as well.

What did Connor do to get sent off?

No pressure on us now for Saturday. Saints won't lose more than a handful this year.

Fingers crossed no ban for Connor and in improving injury situation.

Hodgson in a recent interview criticised himself for some of his bench selections last season including not giving game time for a bench player and said that this will change yet he has done the same thing, so whats the point of selecting Burrell.Surely with so many players missing he would know we wouldnt be able to mount up a score to play a young player without pressure on him.
I just wonder if Jamie Shaul has in fact signed for Toulouse and wasnt available because i agree its a strange choice.
Really under the pump for the Saints match if we lose Connor and Sao who went off with a head injury assessment

Contact to the head I think.

Wakey fan in peace. I thought we lacked a lot of composure, especially in the second half at vital times. Our attack in the first half was poor, especially with the amount of pressure we had on your line, though obviously testament to your defence. The team you put out is no where near your full strength side, and that’s the thing that really disappointed me as we only have Lino out. Good luck for the season, I’m really looking forward to seeing how Evans gets on!

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
