Very keen to meet with everybody in the city and find a way of working together. 'From today we are going to get connected with the people of Hull.
Well that's the most positive statement relating to us we've had from SMC owners in a decade or so. (Very low bar admittedly). I saw he was reducing concession prices for City, hopefully he would like maximum stadium utilisation on all fronts. Maybe joint City/FC passes or similar?

Not sure if he’d want to take it on but surely Adam would be ideally placed and has the background to take on the running of the SMC on behalf of both parties. Depends whether Acun would allow someone from outside his organisation to hold such a position
Quote:Ilicali held a press conference at the MKM this afternoon to officially welcome his new head coach Shota Arveladze, vice chairman Tan Kesler and CEO Jim Rodwell and the topic of the Hull FC and the SMC was brought up.
“I think the first thing we have to do is sit down and have a conversation but we haven’t got that far,” Rodwell said when asked about the Black and Whites.
“I think everyone in this city wants to see all the sports clubs flourish, football clubs, rugby clubs, every club, but we really haven’t got that far.
“It’s been all hands to the pump since the takeover was confirmed and the time sensitive job is the transfer window and the appointment of the new manager.
“All these things will work themselves out in due course but it’s fair to say we want all sporting entities in the city to succeed and prosper.”

I imagine their new CEO Jim Rodwell and Adam Pearson will know each other to some extent as Rodwell has held similar CEO roles at Notts County, Scunthorpe, Sunderland and Peterborough.
I think it's safe to say that the signs are looking far more positive under the new regime than the previous owners. Let's hope Adam can get around the table and form a relationship which will be far more beneficial to us and the overall feeling around the place. Be good to get the council onboard too and hopefully breed some positivity as that will benefit everyone.
