According to Hull Live City's prospective new owner has announced live on the Turkish Voice that he has bought the club.

What an end to a crazy year! Interesting times ahead.

He will be at the Everton FA Cup game. Wonder what the attendance will be?

Takeover should be confirmed tomorrow (Wednesday), players and staff have already been informed.

I wonder what will really happen to the SMC?

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Seems to be suspiciously quiet on the subject of the SMC part doesn't it?

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

.... I can't imagine what might happen, even if its debts have effectively been written off.

Could it ever break even? In theory, in the right hands, it might, but making a worthwhile profit seems highly unlikely.

Lots of city fans were complaining about the state of the stadium last week, apparently it had not even been cleaned since the previous game.

Mike White said last night that the SMC is included in the sale.

I'd saw a post from a city fan in E3, said apparently the seats where finally getting cleaned before the game, hopefully a sign of what's to come.

Never know what new owners are going to be like, from what I've read he doesn't seem anywhere near as abrupt and spiky as the Allams so hopefully Adam Pearson can build a good working relationship, and the behind the scenes court battles and ridiculous extra charges are a thing of the past.

Will be intriguing

So the Allams are now no longer the owners of City or the SMC  :ROCKS:

Hopefully both Hull City and Hull FC can now move forward and have a better working relationship and understanding with each other along with the City Council in relation to the Stadium.

I think the takeover could be a positive thing for the City as a whole with Ilicali being involved in the entertainment/music industry as we will hopefully see the Stadium become used a more as a concert venue which would generate income and reduce the current usage costs to both clubs.

The jury is out until we hear more from Ilıcalı or Pearson. Hopefully the relationship will be a good one.

First job is to smarten up the stadium, it's looking a real mess lately. leaking roof, bird droppings everywhere etc.
