Hunslet are reporting they expect a 75% reduction in central funding moving forwards.

People associated with Coventry are saying Keighley have put forward a proposal that would see Coventry, Skolars and West Wales Raiders thrown out. Some versions of the story say it was suggested they play in the Conference though that league has long gone.

Fingers crossed for Skolars.

From what I have read the allocation from central funds for League 1 is reduced to £25 000. That is not going to go far.
In addition the travel cost allocation has been removed.
The outlook is bleak for all of League 1 clubs. That is probably why Keighley are keen on pushing the three remote clubs out,to realease money so that they can increase their allocation.

So Broncos are back in on The Capital Challenge at the HAC. Have the mighty Wigan given up on London, I wonder ?

As John Wilken said on TV this morning there was rugby in the South of France and it was the opposite in England with the rugby in the north and nothing south of Birmingham you can understand why people dont know about LB especially as the club is not marketed

Good to see LB back involved in this fixture. Always seemed odd that Wigan took over when it is a rare opportunity to promote the game in the capital.
