fingers crossed Bowden and hopefully Cator will be back to replace Satae and Sao, can only see Wynne at fb and either Mitch or Ferraira (sp) replacing Connor
Our pack is going to be pretty lightweight with our only 2 remaining frontline props gone!
Fash, Brown, errrr.......errrr....... I imagine the likes of Savelio and Ma'u will have to move up to prop. Although I'm then not sure who plays 2nd row if Lane is at loose man and Cator is still out. Glad I don't have to pick the team!

its easy picking the team if you can run your in He will no doubt leave Wynne at centre with Swift at full back and a full debut for Mitch. Problem is we go into the game with our backs bigger than the forwards If i was Pearson i would be fuming that we could lose 2 points all for a nonsense game

That’s the big problem with the likes of Taylor, Bowden & Matongo injured we don’t have any options left as it is, then the RFL decide it’s ok for what is a meaningless friendly to take another 2 of our forwards leaving the club with only Fash & Brown. How the RFL expect clubs to carry on with stupidity like this is beyond belief and they are bringing the game in to disrepute and showing a disrespect to both clubs. An international should be played when no other fixtures are not on in that week.
It’s not like clubs & the game aren’t struggling enough as it is and that’s without the recent covid cases, but hey sod that the RFL just plough on regardless of thought.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Totally agree it’s a total nonsense of a game and what is it going to achieve really? It’s not like it’s the eve of the World Cup it’s bloody months away.
If perish the thought we lose say Satae or Sao to injury in that game out season would be pretty much done or would the RFL allow us to sign a replacement and then cover for said replacement? Of course not they’d carry on in blissful ignorance at giving Hull FC and AP a huge hit in a season that is already costing the club in lost income due to the restrictions still in place.

The fact there are fixtures on the same night is even more absurd. Lets have a huge chunk of our fans watching their club games instead of the national team. Its just madness in every respect.
Its ridiculous how this game can go ahead. I dont think we will even be able to name 17 players for this game.
We have Jake Wardle and Jermaine McGilvarry in the England squad with Kenny Edwards, Ricky Leutele and Aidan Sezer in the nations squad.
We have Jack Ashworth, Sam Wood, Chris McQueen, James Cunningham, Darnell McIntosh, Matty English, Oliver Russell and James Gavet out with the Covid protocols.
We then lost Joe Wardle to injury last night along with what I believe were failed HIAs for Adam O Brien and Jack Cogger who will have to miss out.
Jon Luke Kirby and Chester Butler are both out for the season who are in the first team squad while Innes Senior is on a season long loan at Wakefield.
As it stands our squad will be:
Olly Ashall-Bott Louis Senior ???? Leroy Cudjoe ??? Lee Gaskell ??? Luke Yates Ashton Golding Oliver Wilson Josh Jones Sam Hewitt Michael Lawrence
Ronan Michael Owen Trout ??? ???
A couple of the Covid lads might come back in. We are going to hope Jake Wardle etc dont get selected and can play. Other than that we will have to play our academy lads if it goes ahead.
