There are other things we could potentially do to shuffle the pack around and compensate for missing Bowden's size. For example, Ma'u having a spell in the middle, Griffin second row, Scott at centre (or Fonua with Faraimo on the wing). But I don't see the value in shuffling everything around just for one injury. Fash isnt likely to have much impact on the game but he's solid enough and will do us a job. Keep the changes to a minimum for now.
Think Brown is out this week, Brett said he would back training on Monday.

I'd give Fash a chance
I'd also bring Faraimo onto the bench for Scott.
Yeah Scott on the bench is one I don't really get. I assumed at the time that at some point Griffin would do a spell in the back row to give Ma'u or Savelio a rest, bit obviously it didn't happen like that. Unless Carlos got a little knock and that changed the plans a little bit? Either way I think Faraimo offers plenty more.

I think with 2 teams set to lose their academies, every team has a renewed impetus on playing youth team products.
The words of fools mean nothing to one who resides in the truth.

Maybe that is an option too
Yeah they did, I think that's what will happen on Saturday too. My only concern is if we end up with Cator, Lane and Fash on the pitch at the same time we could struggle in the middle.

Hopefully we can find the right balance on Saturday.
Start with Sao, Satae and Lane. Taylor, Cator and Fash on the bench.
Injuries in the game permitting we should be able to have at least one 'big un' on the pitch all game.

Apparently Josh Griffin had food poisoning and was doubtful for this game. This is probably the reasoning behind Scott on the bench
