Maybe he’ll put his dummy back in, move over to hull for the remainder of his contract, and be part of our championship winning 2021 season
To be honest I can’t see many clubs other than Warrington or Leeds that would have the funds to pay a fee or even meet the outlay for his wage.
Warrington need a replacement for BMM so Jones is a possible option, Leeds haven’t signed anyone yet and could be a signing to replace Ward. There’s is also the possibility nobody wants him too?
Alternatively maybe the signing or Brett Hodgson as the Head Coach, Jones may have had a change of heart? Who knows.
But do we stick with him and play him next season if he’s still here but only because no one else wanted him or sit him for the season if he still doesn’t want to be here?
There is still a good player that would improve us but it’s his attitude that has all been wrong. As I said before both he and his wife knew where Hull was and it didn’t move further away once he’d signed!! If players from overseas can uproot and move to Hull then why can he even commute if he chose not to move a little further east? The not settling just smacks of an excuse and a poor one at that.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I agree with you on this. His options are becoming more limited and it wouldn't surprise me if he stays which would be the worst outcome for both sides. What surprises me is that there appears to be little interest in a current GB international.

We are probably waiting for Josh to be incorporated in a swap deal plus cash either way, for our new winger/prop which has been identified. It’s been a real shame it hasn’t worked out, but we need to sort this out asap.

But that’s a small pool of clubs that A) Have the financial resources to spend on a fee & wages, B) Have a player that would be what we want and C) Would be willing to let a top player go in exchange for Jones.
AP will not want to let Jones go with nothing in return and rightly so.

Yes it’s certainly a conundrum, he was nailed on Huddersfield, then they signed Greenwood, and they seemingly have other options without the need for Jones.
Up in the air now, my first thoughts were, he must be staying, then the HDM reporter, said he’s going.

Maybe we could possibly go in for a swap with Cas to bring back Watts and they get Jones as replacement for McMeeken and everyone’s happy

That’s a great idea, we would be happy, not sure Cas fans would be very pleased
