Think we need to look closely at how we use Smith and Leuluai. It’s night and day our kicking game when Leuluai is on compared to Smith. Tommy has been a great servant but there’s no room for sentiment. Lam is picking a really young front row, which in turn makes it hard to put a young scrum half in.
We’re still searching for our best team for me but Lam seems further away from knowing it than the fans do.
Marshall kept being left in 2 on one situations by Bibby. In the second half Hardaker and Bibby swapped sides to strengthen our left side defense. Hankinson should come in for Bibby next week.
Yeah that sounds about right for me,. Marshall had a poor game by his current high standards, but dropping him seems like an overreaction. Wasn't great, but we never looked like losing. On the upside, we always look like we had a try in us in attack, and we haven't always been able to say that lately.

I agree with you on this, however we need to be making it into the opposition 40 for this to count.
Just seen the tackle from Flower on twitter. Typical over reaction to anything Wigan. It was mistimed and misjudged certainly, I would imagine he’ll cop a ban but that was no different at all to what you’d see in any other game.

I’d make George Burgess play 80 minutes for the reserves for the next few weeks and make his lungs burn. He’s in dire need of that sort of pain if he wants to become a top line prop rather than a parody of a marquee prop
Stop protecting the guy and make him earn his corn
Thought HKR were very decent and light years ahead of Toronto. Good honest performance from those guys
You missed top of the league and 5 from 6 from your analysis.

His form has been excellent for weeks and also for weeks at the back end of last season. In comparison Burgess has been off colour for a similar amount of time, after starting last season pretty well.
Burgess didn’t just have one off game, he had a number of them over a few months. If Marshall keeps today’s form up for a few weeks then we have a question but I doubt he will.
Have to agree with you,Marshall shouldn't be anywhere near being dropped yes he didn't have the best game today but you Ould argue he was due a bad game and it arrived today.
As for the game not one I will recall fondly though KR gave it their all and look a million miles more prepared to stay up than the Wolfpack,on to next week.
