It's open to interpretation. If we assume all Labour voters are remainers and all Tory voters are leavers then the pro remain parties took 53% of the overall vote. This appears to be backed up by an opinion poll in today's Independent which has a 52/48 split in favour of remain.

And the rest.
This is strange. Many Brexiters accept that there are no financial benefits in leaving the EU and now you appear to be happy that the process of leaving wasnt democratic. Youre clearly the type of person the Tories rely upon.

The process of the vote was very democratic - one person one vote. Lies were equally as bad on both sides - the leave vote was never about money it was always out control and managing immigration. Monies paid into the EU at £9bn is tiny for a country of our size yes it would be useful but we have heard of us paying £39bn to leave!!
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

I'm not going to convince you and vice versa. The UK remains split down the middle. I've never experienced this degree of public disatifaction before with regards to a "democratic" result. So, what's different this time?
