The effort last night was poor, but to be honest, the effort in most games has been good, we just have a very poor team of journeymen, plodders, and young promise. As i said earlier, if you reflect on most matches this season we have relied on penalties or errors to get into attacking positions, when we are in the 'arm-wrestle' of gaining territory, we lose to virtually every team out there (London aside). On squad strength i put us 11th in the league, although it's a toss up between us and Hull KR for that 11th spot, we simply need better players in key positions to be competitive.

Agree with this 100%. Dread to think where we would be this season without the contributions of our young potential. Bottom really.
I’m off now to watch and support more young potential at Lockwood. They are our future ( and unfortunately our present ATM)
Run leroy , run !.... And he did - twice - and we partied hard...

.
while i agree with much of this I'm not convinced that the main problems at the club don't start higher than on the field, and while i am extremely grateful to Mr Davy for what he has done, he is the place where the buck stops, He is the only man who can change things and he appears to have been happy to let things go along getting lower and lower and it's something that has mystified me for a long time, It is however his club to run how he sees fit so we can just hope things will eventually turn round, but i wont be holding my breath on that one.

Talking about the fact he’s spent a small fortune on the club and if what happened tonight happens again he is walking away. Left the room in silence. I can’t blame him. I’m not likely to go to another game this season given I miss a home game due to holiday and I don’t justify the huge cost for us to go to an away game to be disappointed. Sobering thoughts.
told you before and others, we go down and we dont have a club anymore to support.
well maybe be like batley playing at lockwood part time

Fully agree with you Jo. Ken has allowed this to happen now for far too long and you have to question his ambition for the club since we won silverware. Thewlis especially seems to get away with murder with Ken due to being a family friend.
Instead of sacking thewlis, which Ken won't do, surely we should go down the route other clubs have and sign a director of rugby to take the recruitment from him?
