I wouldn’t be surprised if we signed both Sao and Kane if green and Paea we’re leaving , plus Ellis and we haven’t replaced watts yet . We have numbers in the props department but not quality.

O/T but I see Kallum Watkins has apparently been poorly treated by Leeds who are trying to renege on a back end weighted long deal handed out before his injury. Whilst it's definitely noticeable that he is a shadow of the player he was, seems harsh to treat the club captain like that given he seems a model pro. Leeds is just a basket case at present.

If this is true then players will think twice about joining Leeds. If their prepared to dump on their home game town club captain who has been the model professional and a one club man, then they will not bat an eyelid at any other player.

It's in the article embedded in this tweet. Some very harsh comments in this thread about Watkins form but given his runs on the board at the club you'd have thought he'd be treated well. Can't see him getting a NRL gig, maybe Leeds would seek to offload and pay some of his wages?
