Was a good game and if had gone on for 5 mins longer we would have won. Hull seemed really out of puff after 30 mins each half? We actually did not play that well so to come within a whisker of winning when we are only playing at about 70% does give me good hope.
Do have to ask, why oh why did dragon not smack Albert Kelly into next week? Some weak tries conceded but that one topped it, unusual for dragon! 10 mins Togo, did thinkthe game was gone! So credit to them for fightingto the end. Agree with other comments re Hull mtrs being made in the tackle, some very strong forward running.
As others have posted we probably didn't deserve to win but i'm still looking at Sunday's game as 2 points lost. We just weren't there from 41-60 minutes and we gifted Hull a couple of soft tries. Agree that strong running forwards, Taylor in particular won it for Hull. Hopefully we will have Ionae back soon, he will hopefully be a help in that department. At least we didn't crumble when it looked like we could have been given a pasting - thankfully Sneyd left his kicking boots at home. Puts the pressure on for next week, looking more and more like a must win game for us - and Hudds will be buoyed by their win at the weekend.
