Leeming to do 80 minutes alongside Roby- haha no pressure!
For me leeming is the better hooker we have in terms of all round ability, o brien is a very good player and much in the vein of smurph is mr totally dependable. He’s solid, makes few errors, gives few penalties, and a good passer- but hes unlikely to ‘command’ a game the way leeming showed he can on Friday. Leeming has that ability to make things happen when he’s on song. Let’s hope this is going to be his season!

yes lets hope leeming can produce it more than once a season

some good competition between him and obrien, though there was no competition between them last season

I'd prefer a home win, but don't hold out much hope.

Leeming gets vilified on here regularly but how many hooker's command games behind a weak pack? Last week we dominated Wigan and the backline were all on top but that's a rarity for us. Hopefully we can compete tonight or see if last week's performance was a one off.

Good first half until last 5 minutes and then awful for the rest but all seem to collapse when joe went off

thought we were going well for this first 40, we could have scored just before half time but hewitt knocked on on their line and then gave a pen away and saints scored instead, big swing in momentum there

second half not as good, didnt get much from the ref and saints players playing for pens at the play of the ball which needs stamping out of the game, the ref has no choice but its bad to see.

saints had a great kicking game second half and roby just shows his class on the field, we need to compete for longer not just 40-50mins.

big two games to come now

In regard to the pens which 'had to be given' the peyroux one where our player was to the side of him when he got up, so he moved the play the ball to where our player was laid so he could then play the ball into him, was blatantly ridiculous and should have been a penalty to us for moving off the mark.

Epitomized by the penalty given against leuluai while Ben Westwood knelt on his neck.
I think it was Westwood, anyway after a long line of garbage at pob in both defense and attack, that signaled the switch off for me.
Wakey Wire next week, I have to go but I know I will be bored 5h1tless with this nonsense.
