Faz doesn’t deserve to be dropped for me he’s offered more than frawley - but looks like he sustained an injury so won’t play anyway. Walne hasn’t been terrible but you’d have taai in over him if available.
Farrell 2 games, 0 carries , 0 metres, bag Frawley as he’s expected to do more but faz isn’t a threat to the line he’s catching and tipping on
Jools surely doesn't like Frawley. He's not the distributor we need, but he's the only one who has broken the line in the two games we have played. Hes a line running HB and a pretty good one from what i've seen so far.
Problem is we have no ball handlers in the team. Can't really blame Woolford as losing Brough was 100% the right move as is being proved with his 2 sin binnings in 2 for Wakefield, and he tried for Hastings and others but couldn't get them. Good teams have 4 or 5 who can distribute and make a missout pass etc. We have .. none. Sicknote gaskell isn't the answer, we badly need a half to partner Frawley who can pass and create chances.
We don't have distributors in any of the other key positions, Full back, i like Macintosh a lot but hes a long way from chiming into the line and passing. Lawrence at loose is another mistake, he can't pass to save his life, and O'Brien is more of a running hooker than a distributor.

So he’s doing his job- passing the ball? Just like AOB. Who only had 1 carry. But one of his “tipping on” resulted in a try.

Good job Tom Holmes will be fit soon then.....
No I don’t like frawley, his long range kicking game isn’t good enough, he’s passive and quiet and you don’t Notice he’s there at all. He doesn’t control the game or the team-and that’s what your Half is supposed to do- and as someone from Aus came on here and warned us he’s not seeming the right man for the job. If he proves me wrong later then great but he’s not impressed so far.
A hooker who has no caries isn’t great, a half back with 0 carries isn’t good either, Take your newsome hat off for a minute and think was just catching and passing enough? You quote stats all the time so if a half back who didn’t play at newsome had those stats would you defend him Jacob Truman last game v hull 12 carries 88m
Thought Darnell was outstanding, I actually think he saved the try where he scooped the ball away but given on the field and not enough to prove otherwise.
The track back was outstandint, he was unlucky with the break against Tomkins, I have no idea how dragging someone's feet when the tackle is complete is legal. And thought he looked class when he switched to fullback.
Any news on Izaac? Looked potentially season ending unfortunately

pointless debate on farrell as we wont see him again this season.
gaskell will be back and hes not a sick note, look how many games he played for us last season, more than most
see frawley and uate are the scapegoats for jools already not given them much chance.
frawley like other poster says is a ball runner and has made some good breaks so far, let him partner with gaskell as was planned pre season, they were going well in the friendlies...
be good to see mcintosh back at full back too and mcgillvary... all in time, hopefully v warrington
