I don't agree on your expectations point, for example in sure next season Wakey would be happy to make the top 5 or even get to Wembley whilst in not sure Pearson and the fans would be happy with that, it's the same in most sports.

After seeing years of failure I think I'll celebrate those two cup wins for a bit longer, if in still doing it in years then fair enough, but thanks for the advice.

Just had a quick look at your posts, you didn't post once on here earlier in the season, id probably guess you have hardly posted whilst we had a decent couple of years, then suddenly you have been posting regularly since you beat us and we have been on our losing run.

Wakey fan here. I come in peace.

Reece is a prime example of a player who has clearly worked very hard on his game and his rugby league. He was switched to centre as he started to bulk up a few years ago and since then has really grown into the position.

Year on year Reece has been showing gradual improvement and has clearly shown dedication to improve. Reece has been a good centre now for the past 2 seasons. He had a great 2017 and 2018 and he has raised the bar every year up to press. I think bulking up has really helped his game too. I don’t think anybody at Wakey will claim he’s a superstar but he is most certainly a good superleague centre these past 2 years. He’s also very consistent and I can’t recall the last poor performance he put in for wakey.

In regards for England he had a good solid debut. I’m happy for the lad. I can see him on his way to being a top class centre if he keeps up this improvement year on year. He’s not there yet but he’s on his way. It’s astounding when you think he’s the same skinny young lad we signed from Hull fc 6 years ago. His yard gain after contact Is impressive, he can get round his opposite number and probably my biggest criticism of Reece over the years has been his service to his winger but he’s popped out some good offloads and passes this year showing improvement in that area.

I can see exactly why Bennet would have him in the England set up now. While he isn’t the finished article the guy clearly lives his rugby and works very hard on improving his game. With 3 years to the World Cup nurturing a player like Lyne in the England set up could be a master stroke. As bennet alluded to in his post match Reece is a “project”.

Like has been said Wakey have been patient with him and these past few years it’s really paid off.
