Unlike you I support our team in any kind of weather, you're the one who has been writing the team off regularly from the get go, how do you reconcile the fact we are still in with a shout of getting in the top 4 after you started a M8s thread, keep saying we're going to lose every-time the opposition look a bit frisky/we concede a try or two and continue on saying the season is over?

I support the team no matter who is in charge or whether I like them or the job they are doing, Casey, Crooks, Agar, Radford. But I have never given up on the team unlike yourself, I've never boo'd the team unlike many so called fans (despite my annoyance and/or anger at shoddy/woeful performances) and I will continue to make the 350 mile round trip as often as I can, as I have done for coming up to 30 years barring a period in the early 90s when that wasn't possible.

You have to be pretty thick not to understand her posts - something that has been regularly pointed out to you.

2 Lee Radford can bring this team, already several points off the 4 and with multiple senior player injuries, to success in the play-offs with this young, mentally unfit group.

I've been going 30 years too. How many FC fluffy dice have you got?

Amazing really how far we haven't come in terms of squad and youth since the dark days or Hetheringtons rule. Gone are the days of signing players like Wilkinson, Lupton, Scruton etc as I youth development was so good back then...............NOT.

The difference between then and now is light years, AP said from practically day one when he took over that the youth system at the club had been under funded significantly and he he vowed to change that and he did almost immediately with serious investment into the youth structures at the club.
He also relied on McRae who sadly had him over and we nearly lost both Lineham & Shaul before Radford championed their ability.
I was one of the ones who at the start wasn't convinced by Radford but both he and AP have shown that their plan is working and is now starting to bear fruit, it was not going to happen over night. The cancer at the club is gone and it now breeds a successful culture.
Lets face it Leeds who for years have had a wealth of home grown talent are finding this season difficult as they do not have the same quality in the youth as they have previously.
Whilst its great to be able to put a team out full of home grown and trained talent you also have to be realistic and know that you still need players from outside to complement.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Back on topic.

I like to see Connor back at 6, not sure Harris is ready yet and feel we are stronger with him at 6 and then Logan in the centres.

Hadley and Manu, will strengthen the pack and go forward, can only see a comfy Hull win, then the tricky games start with 3 tough games then Rovers.

One thing to remember as well is that Leeds have around 35 affiliated community clubs. Hull as a city has around 10 community clubs, to share between two SL sides. I don't think we do too badly at all considering the player pool available to us.

Spot on think Harris looked lost last week, not a criticism but think we need Connor and Kelly in the halves and Logan and Carlos in centres, Miloudi/Talanoa and Faraimo wings.

No way do Leeds have 35 clubs to go at (unfortunately for the game as a whole).

At Under 13s level for example the Yorkshire League currently has 38 teams (I think), this is for all of Yorkshire except Hull.

Even with a loose definition as to what might come under Leeds area, there is no more than 10 clubs in there. So they will struggle just like Hull, although traditionally they have apparently acquired some of their best juniors from outside Leeds.

I didn’t mention anything about areas, city boundaries or geography regarding Leeds.

I've been going 30 years too. How many FC fluffy dice have you got?

I've been travelling the long distances for 30 years to get to home games. I've been going 40 since I was in infant school and walked to the ground on my own. that shows that no matter who is in charge, no matter how we are doing I will support our club, in any kind of weather, that's loyalty to the club, you can't seem to grasp that basic concept hence why you asked the question again despite being given an answer.
My thoughts on the coach and how the club is run don't have to be aligned for me to keep supporting the team I've followed since a kid, maybe you need to have a long hard think about that before you yet again write the team off after 20 minutes into a game, writing the season off after a loss or starting a 'we're going to be in the bottom 4' thread after a few rounds - Februrary 24th you started that nonsense thread, after THREE games, one of which we had won! Yet you can't wait to jump on posters whom have a different viewpoint regarding the coach and how things are going generally.
You obviously go to more games than I do, sure you have furry dice but you constantly write the team off and by definition the players, the coach and the club as a whole.
Again, how do you reconcile the fact we aren't in the bottom4/M8s given your same old boring repetitive we're doomed trope, it really doesn't line up does it? On the one hand you must be really glad we still are in with a chance of top 4, on the other you must be gutted that your nonsense thread and constant witterings about season over show you up as a fan who is too ready to write the club/team off and doesn't think the players/coach are up to the job week in week out.

Even worse is that you think that me or anyone else not liking a coach is worse than that :NAUGHTY:  I wanted Radford out because after two seasons of absolute garbage he showed no signs whatsoever of being able to do anything. You can make up all the excuses but the previous coach took over agar's rubbish, had no investment in the youth and still managed to improve matters massively and got to a CC final with a bunch of kids and a ton of injuries, so to say Radofrd had a chain around his neck those two seasons is not an excuse for the way we performed which contrasted massively to the previous two seasons.
Since then I've given praise and criticism in equal quantities but he's gone as far as he can IMO. However my not liking Radford/wanting him out is nowhere near the same as simply giving up on the team.
Why not wait and see how things go in a match before writing the team off, why not wait until the season is over, discussing where we are going wrong, what we can improve, what we are doing well, how great x was, is the coach doing enough to resolve this, can a player change so they can improve, can the owner do something different so that more fans come in, whatever the subject matter, but what you do week after week is just defeatist rubbish.
Write your viewpoint, but as with any other opinion it will be challenged which is what a forum is for after all right? I was banned for challenging your viewpoint, a viewpoint you repeat time and time and time again.
Well done for being in the :GROUPHUG: it does endow you with protective powers.

Widnes, we're going to massively benefit from the rest and I don't see anything but a big, big win. Bit gutting with Cas coming back to beat the pies but win and we are still knocking on the door and in the S8s we have a chance to ruffle some feathers. First things first get past Widnes with no more injuries.
