I think recruitment for this season was OK - Myler's doing well in a key position, jury out on Dwyer, and bad luck with Peteru. For me the big mistake we've made was not starting to rebuild more in 2017. I know we won the comp, but there would have been zero harm if we'd added a new forward for that season.
If Walters re-signs its just a sad reflection on the perceived state of our juniors.

The concern for me is that we can no longer attract the right players to our club these days. Once upon a time players came to Leeds or didn't go anywhere else for more money as they knew they could win something at Leeds. Lately we have lost out on players such as Bentley who preferred Saints, Lussick to Toronto, Clark to Warrington and now Greenwood to Wigan. At least three of those we should have convinced their future lies with Leeds. Is it because GH won't spend the cash or players no longer see their chances of winning silverware with us anymore? But as long as we continue to pay to watch the crap that we are serving up and cement a place in the top 8 GH will be happy. We are not too dissimilar to Leeds United only we will have a shiny new stadium whilst LUFC won't. As fans we expect more and maybe if we vote with our feet GH might just might take notice.

Clark was no loss at all, he'd sink without trace in our side this year. Lussick would have been useful, but didn't GH say we had no room for more overseas players?

Interesting comment there BR and I am not disputing what you are saying But Sam Burgess reckons he is the best team mate he has played with. Do you think he will do well in Warringtons pack next year or are you saying his style would not suit the way our pack plays? Or he is a bad signing regardless?

If he's THAT good, why are Souths releasing him.
He wont be on Burgess, Inglis or even Johnston money.

Jason Clark is the type of player who SL clubs shouldn't be signing, yes he is solid and honest but will have absolutely no impact whatsoever on games.

My response below.

Warrington - the home of mediocrity.
Who might just get to win the GF this year or put another way will have a better chance than Leeds will have.
