With it being that time of year again, anyone heard anything regarding signing our scholarship lads up? Anyone caught people's eye this season. Personally i like the look of Harry Shackleton and Kieran Brining.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcZ7xxZ3Hu8 Latest display versus Keighley here won 51-28. Bit scrappy but a few good bits.
Oakes in second row showed some good touches. Andrade made heaps of yards. If he can sort out the errors first team isn't far away.

Not seen it posted anyhere else but there were 7 players signed from the scholarship to the academy a few weeks ago. 3 of whom ( Kieran Brining, Harry Shackleton and Daniel Edwards) have just been announced in the England squad. Think we have the third highest representation behind Wigan & Warrington. John Bastian and his team continue to work their magic. Great stuff and continuing to build. Players signed up: Kieran Brining Isaac Coleman Ciaran Dickinson Daniel Edwards Layton Heywood Daniel McGrath Harry Shackleton

I thought Brining was very impressive for England v France, he was one of only a few who looked up to standard.

So the question that comes from that is, in a couple of years will he be in a Cas or a Huddersfield shirt?

Superb 18-10 win over the Rhinos last night.
