Kelly had a quiet game by his standards, maybe unsurprising considering his head knock (and he was heavily targeted jn defence down our right edge) but just watched the highlights back and wanted to dedicate a topic to the excellent pass he threw out for Jake Connor's try. Absolutely on the money. Its been an awful long time since we had somebody who can hit a man like that. 12 men on the pitch and we managed to form an overlap big enough for Connor to waltz in from 20 metres away.great stuff.

Also embarrassing by the Rovers fans to cheer him getting a head knock.

Totally agree with all of that. Love the way he hits in the tackle as well. He seems to be really happy in our environment, and he's certainly idolised on the terraces!
I always think we've got a chance when he's on the pitch.

There was one run by Carney (who looked very unfit and unsure of ever backing himself) where he made a specific line to run directly at Kelly. He just hit him low and lifted the legs and stopped Carney dead in his tracks. Great tackle.

But absolutely predictable never the less.

Kelly’s response and enthusiasm when singing “Old Faithful” with the team, in the changing room, was a joy to watch. Clearly enjoying himself with us.

Seen some great videos of the boys singing in the changing rooms. Bet the Rovers team could hear them from theirs.

I'm still hoping the Rovers fans can talk about 3rd Year syndrome.
