Not sure Sky would have had much say in this to be honest. BBC got the pick of the games and would have had the say on timings.
Wakey to Salford is only a 50 min journey, an hour tops. Avoiding Friday traffic is probably not a bad thing.
As for our game, from a personal point of view I'd have preferred Saturday as I cannot make the Sunday. C'est La Vie!
From a team point of view, this creates a big imbalance on turnaround for the Wakefield game. Id they play Thursday, We play Sunday and then against each other the following Friday!!!!!!
but with all the discontent with there fans going on we should make a massive push to promote this game.
