Every signing can be seen as a gamble Segeyaro was seen as a "Marquee" signing look how that turned out whereas Kylie Leuluai was received with a "who's he" type of reaction. I do question GH wrt strengthening Fevs roster during a major transitional period for us & especially after a clusterfcuk of a year but with this particular signing i can see why we've gone down this route & i personally am prepared to give the kid a chance.

Regarding McIlorum you're talking about someone who we haven't seen play since suffering a serious long term injury and even heard noises during the year that he might never recover from it. Even if he does return he could well be a shadow of the player he was.

On paper at least we look weaker than every other top 4 contender in those positions, albeit with the possibility of a lot of upside in Golding/Sutcliffe/Lilley/Aston.
true, but Leeds are putting faith in their homegrown players.. It may prove misplaced but too few British halves in the game

TBF I'm sure that the lions share of supporters will do just that, support him.
Its really only one agenda driven poop stirrer on here who's enjoying tugging himself off by belittling someone before he's lifted a finger for the club.

Stones and glass houses come to mind
Not really since I said we'd be lucky to finish top 4. You predicted they'd finish top, remember?
Have a lovely day!

Sure the Keyboard warriors will correct me if I'm wrong. No disrespect to Matt hope he becomes a club legend I just think that at this time we need an established hooker one with mongrel like mclorum to work with Lilly and sutty in the absence of mags and rob and their imminent retirement. Also this is a gamble because Matt has a history of bad hamstring Cheap option
A very reasonable post which won't be tolerated by the usual suspects on this forum, but very reasonable nonetheless.
I too hope that the gamble pays off and Parcell is a success like Kylie as opposed to an Achurch, or a Vickery.

It would be interesting to pull up your predictions for the finishing positions for 2016 - I would be very surprised if you suggested Leeds would not finished in the top 4 before the season started!! I could be wrong.
You will have done what you always do - change your stance part way through the season - you were sure they would make the 8 until the Cas defeat at home and then all of a sudden a change of heart!!
At least we have a bet that is free from ambiguity - at last
Have a great day - don't go throwing any stones!!
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

I made that statement when you wanted to place a bet last year. I'll be happy to link to it if you like, it shouldn't take long to find. Unlike some on here I don't make stuff up.
Anyway, good luck with your bet of Leeds struggling again this year. What would this board and the club do without fans like you!!

Like I say, i'm always happy to back up my statements where possible. You and the potty postman should try the same.
Starting with this....

Or you could always apologise for making stuff up again.
