according to Lee Radford, "We found out about Kelly being available when Frank had gone back home and then some tough decisions had to be made. We released Frank because he needs to be starting games and we couldn't guarantee that so he ended up doing time in the middle and not in his preferred position, because Mark Minniciello was outstanding for us last season".

GCSEs are a lot easier to jump in and out of than A Levels/Foundations courses. We found this out with my eldest when we moved across to Castleford and he had to remain at Wyke.

The second row has been an embarrassment of riches really the last couple of seasons, the form of Gaz and Mini hasn't left many openings for anyone else. It doesn't make sense having a large chunk of salary tied up without getting the requisite value from it. Tough decisions have to be made for the benefit of the team, we've been guilty of being too sentimental about players over the years. If moving Frank on benefits the team then it's good business all round.

Where's this quote from? Would be interested in the rest of the context.
Think to much is being made of frank going. He didn't go to well on the pitch Imo but was brill off it. As a package he worked well and did a good job. But things change . Imo Kelly for frank is a good move

Sandow not turned up for pre season training for Wire. Leaving the club... we need to offer sneyd a big contract now and get him tied down before clubs come sniffing.

Rumours in Leeds that Segeyaro is Cronulla bound too.
The exchange rate probably playing a part with players now realising that any lucrative SL contracts they signed originally, aren't lucrative anymore.

think we need to offer a new deal to Fonua - he is still young, and i think will only get better. The fact he started pre season last week and looks in far better shape already than he did in the early few rounds of SL this year could mean he is gonna have a fantastic year
