The simple fact is that he could have probably got another season somewhere else but would never ever play for anyone else.

Top bloke on and off the field and one of my favourite players and a real quite assassin and a great tackler, We never had to worry too much about the defence at his side of the field and sitting in the East Stand I have seen plenty of opposition centres and wingers looking to avoid him by three quarter time. It won't be the same with him not there in the centre. I once asked him if he had ever been approached by Rovers he just said, "Well they asked!!!!"

end of an era. there's a big chunk of supporters who have not seen an FC team without him featuring regularly in it

The referee's indecision is final

I was a critic of Yeaman in years gone by, but was big enough to reverse that and praise him for his performances this season. But let's be clear. I am not aware of many who love to criticise any player.

The turn around in his career this season should be a message to any player who feels their playing days are numbered. Having the right attitude pays dividends.

Thank you Kirk, you rightly deserve all the accolades.

Fond memories include his try at Warrington on the 2005 play offs. The 90 yard interception at Wembley. The car crash tackle on Scott Grix in 2011.

All of the above. I love that his break v Hull KR at Easter lit the blue touch-paper for this most amazing season. One of my other favourite moments was his badge-tugging v Wakey amidst rumour's he was leaving. I'm sure he will be afforded a great send-off.

An absolute true legend of the Club, always remembered for his badge kissing in front of the Dobbins and his record trying scoring feats against them. Not only that a top bloke and will remember sharing and enjoying his company at a Cricket Club Function. Hope Kirk can lead the team out this evening, and he is given a tremendous ovation and an even bigger (winning) send off. You will never be forgotten YEAMO - COYH.........................................................

It wasnt directed at you nor anyone in particular, just i think Kirk has been unfairly critisised at times over the last couple of years, granted he wasnt as potent in attack as he was in his best season but hes always been rock solid in defence and always given everything for the shirt in a similar way to Horney who was also critisised a lot towards the end of his career

Can't argue with his career stats and achievements. If ever a player showed that competition for places and no right to an automatic place was the way forward then in recent times it's Kirk. Upped his performance this year after a couple of lean years because he had to. Will be strange not to see him cutting down his opposite number out of the line. And did any other player ever catch more passes while sliding on his knees ? Wish him all the best for the future - would make a good strength and conditioning coach I would imagine.

Best of luck to Yeamo for the future. Has been a great servant to the club and whilst being a star in the Hull FC ranks has remained humble.

Deserves credit for his performances this season after losing his place. Always thought him & Raynor were one of the best centre/wing duo's this club has had.

Really hope Kirk can go out with a full medal haul.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

It's been a real privilege watching Kirk over the years. Never doubt what this club means to him, he's as big a fan of the club as any of us. I hope there's a position within the club for him.
