I imagine the majority of them would have less in this team. Not saying Shaul is the perfect full back but what he lacks in this area, he makes up for in others areas. Saying that this would be less of a problem if we had a stand off who got involved more, hoping it is Tuimavave after an pre season there, but juries still out for me

And here's the list of Full Backs who have scored more Cup winning tries than Jamie this season............
I think Fonua is too short. If you look at how tall other centres are then you'll see that he needs to up this part of his game.
Also, Houghton and Washbrook are too bald to be hookers in the modern game. It was fine in the 70s and 80s when being bald was an important part of a hooker's game but the sport's moved on. We need to sign a hairy hooker to at least spell Danny from the bench.
And have you noticed how northern Radford is? His accent is so predictable around the press conference it's becoming a joke. I know the last time we had an Ausie accent it didn't work but what about Brian Smith, eh? Eh? Now FC are on top we have to change everything to keep it fresh. I'd sign a Brummie just to shake things up a bit.

I walked past the training ground last week and Fonua was hanging off a cross bar whilst Feka and Radders hung off each leg

Nobody's having a 'dig'. Unless you think that Shaul is the perfect FB right now and has no areas of his game that he might want to improve? I'm pretty sure that neither he nor the coaching staff think that however.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

This is a fans forum and i dont think people are having a go at Jamie Shaul but simply pointing out the area of his play which needs to improve. If he had Rankins ability when joining the attacking line and stop getting dragged into touch so much he would no doubt be Englands full back. Im sure Jamie and the coaches are working to improve his link attack option but he is still a very good full back in my opinion
