as for campbell, not a great game, the pass form lilley that slipped out of his hands and went to ground yet campbell and the linesmand ignored, thankfully fonaus' ball steal one on one meant it didnt cost us
i still think we would have won if mini and carlos didnt go off injured but we cant blame the ref for the loss, are forwards were out on their feet at the end
Absolutely agree. It's as if the video referee doesn't want to undermine the on field ref by disagreeing with his decision.

I've never screamed at a ref so loud when he missed that leeds dropped ball a minute or so from the end... I must say though I often wonder what the linesmen are doing in these situations, how have they not spotted the forward passes when 11,000 people sat miles away can see it?
And yeah, agree with Wilf, definitely lost count a couple of times.

If a defender wasn't in contact with him then that doesn't matter but many a time ball/arm hits the deck and nothing is said with a defender in field of play, only for tries does it seem to matter/be policed properly.

Love how Washbrooke dropped it cold in midfield and some how it went back. That is a knock on ever time in Aus. SL refs give some much leeway around loose ball. In the NRL it's far more strict as the standards are so much higher from players and Refs.
