And once again the Faithful have to endure a Friday night crossing of the Pennines. When will these people give some consideration to the fans of this game.

Sky should bin the Thursday night game and go back to the Saturday 6pm slot . Even a game at 6pm Sunday would be better . Travelling on a Saturday or Sunday would be better than a Thursday and Friday for most , surely ?

Loved the Saturday slot for rugby. This would be my choice too but sky will stay with Saturday night football. Not like theirs already enough footy on t.v. With usually 2 games Sunday a game Monday, sometimes Tuesday and now they have Saturday too.

I must admit, I do think the Thursday night games are good for TV exposure. There's only darts to compete with.
The problem occurs for the away fans, and for fans with young children. Am I right in thinking this year clubs have all been putting free coaches on on a Thurs night? A great idea. More should be done to increase the fans in the ground, with other initiatives like that.

I know they aren't great for away fans, but I really look forward to Thursday night games, nothing else on, what else am I going to do, speak to the wife?
