Same half hearted ass squirt in the second half, don't seem to be able to hang onto offloads very well something I noticed especially but its 2 points so I'm not gonna moan too much.
awful game, awful officiating from childs, gave enough penalties to wakefield in the second half that a decent team would've posted points on, but thankfully they have less creativity than us!
I think we have to get back to the team of the first two matches as we looked much more balanced with players backing up and wanting to get onto the ball. Naughton blew his chance tonight so if Talanoa is fit i would put Tuimavave back to centre and bring Fonua in at right centre. Watts and Taylor starting props,Thompson at 13 with Ellis and Pritchard coming off the bench with Bowden. The problem will be at 6.Probably not the right game for Dean or HTW.Washbrook i guess could provide an unspectacular link until Pryce is fit leaving a bench spot for Feka or Green. Radford left Mini on again for too long as he has done recently with Manu. Has to get this interchange right.
A most uninspiring and boring game. A game were we just seemed to go through the motions and nothing more. Thankfully Wakey are a woeful team and look Championship material. I think against a better team we would have really struggled. I know some have said a win's a win but for me it's the manner of the win against a poor team we were expected to beat and should be beating comfortably which is more important.

A win's a win so I'm pleased we got the two points. Not our best performance by any means but certainly a long way off our worst performance.
Defence was pleasing tonight. We were under the cosh a bit at times but stayed strong... admitedly, Wakey were wasteful and somewhat blunt in attack but I still think we can take it as a positive.
Most disappointing thing for me is we never looked like a team trying to put right a shocking performance from the week before. Looked like a team that knew they had enough to win. 2 things which make me question whats going on in our heads are- not going for goal with 4 seconds on clock and getting a penalty 10 yrds out and kicking for touch so were now 20 yrds out then taking a drive back to were original penalty was awarded and wasting a tackle.
Fortunate we were playing thee worst team in SL tonight. I can't believe how far away from what we did in those first 2 games we've gone. No backing up, dull one man rugby. Even the forwards aren't having the same impact. Christ knows what wire will do to us on easter monday
