It's obviously easier to play well as a 7 when the pack is dominating, but he looks full of ideas, his passing has been crisp and accurate and he just generally seems to have a bit of spring in his step that we rarely saw last year. I also thought that when Pryce was sin binned last week he really stood up and took control of what could have been an awkward period for us. His job is also made easier by having centres who can make things happen without it needing to be put on a plate for them. I think Westerman leaving could end up being the best bit of business we did this off season. I did like Westy, but with him not playing first receiver looks to have given us a more varied, slightly off the cuff attack, and that suits Sneyd down to the ground.
Pleased he is doing well, I really rated him in 2014 until he knew he was leaving Cas, when he seemed to lose a bit of focus. Shame about the beard, though.
cas have played the 2 worst teams in SL so hard to gauage how well they're doing really. We've comfortably beaten les cats in france (no small achievement going by recent years) and a much improved salford side who have won 2 games since. I'm sure cas are capable of winning this game but it would take a big dip in performance from Hull to do it. Play like we did in france and we won't lose this one

that salford side is pretty good i think we'll find over time. they're playing wigan next i think so that will be a good test of where they are
If we stay focused and don't give them.easy metres through soft penalties then on the back of what we've seen so far we could win by 2 or 3 scores. Lapse for even a short time and Cas can get the ball about the park just as well as we have shown and punish us heavily. I think us by 10 in a high scoring game, at this moment in time a win by even just 1 point would be taken by all Hull fans.

A win of any description is what you need against the teams who will probably be challenging us for a top 4 finish. If we play as we have so far then I think we will edge it. Anything less than 100% and Cas could easily turn us over.

Cas struggled against a very bad Rovers side and beat the team who could only score 2 tries on Sunday and are the most likely to drop down a division.
No Carney this year, no Shenton, Sneyd or Finn. I think we will win this quite easily.
Ben Crooks is a dreadful defender close to the line. His saving grace during his SHORT tenure in the first team was Lineham. Once Lineham got his injuries, Crooks was found out and was dropped very quickly. Just bomb the hell out of him.
