His players will hear or see those comments and it has the potential to plant the seed in their heads that another slow start to the year is very possible. I don't think he's given that aspect any thought and just thought solely about airing his own personal opinion.......in that regard he's put defending himself and his failure last year ahead of the club and its chances of starting this season well.

I'm first & foremost a RL fan, why wouldn't I visit several teams' forums? The fact that your inbred hillbilly mods try to stifle debate won't stop my thirst for knowledge or my mission to educate the ignorant.

Tbf those penalty counts don't tell you what the offences were for. Just for arguments sake, Salford's could be higher because they get pinged for offside a lot more....not saying they do its just providing an example.

Even on the Wigan board they've complained about how ill disciplined they were in 2015 so they can't really come on the VT and try defend themselves.

As a Leeds fan I can admit we get away with stuff at Headingley that we don't away from home (what team doesn't?) and Wigan get away with a lot at the DW. It's one of the reasons why at home they were undefeated yet struggled so badly away.

If you came on the Wigan forum and wanted to debate any subject as long as it is balanced and logical I personally would look forward to that even in the knowledge that on some subjects we may and will disagree.
If someone comes onto the forum spewing one eyed comments I'm probably one of the first who will pop and have a go back. No man who has walked this earth or any team that has played rugby will be perfect all of the time however, some posters seem to live in that neverland.
I don't know the mods but hillbilly and inbred are words that won't endear you to anyone.
I hear from time to time that someone has been banned from the forum but usually for someone who has been a right Harris.
Nicky Kiss and Moto who I don't know but they are 2 people who post on a regular basis on the Wigan forum and come across as really decent people. More often than not in my opinion they both post well balanced views and can see beyond just their own team so I'm surprised at some of the reactions to their posts on this particular thread.
Like yourself I go on other forums as I like to see and hear how other fans think about a variety of subjects.
Anyroad new season around the corner which hopefully wil see more teams capable of challenging the usual suspects.
