Atmosphere was a lot better today I thought after we were forced out of the North East corner even though the club told us it would be open on derby days. Certainly got a lot more fans joining in and it made for a class atmosphere. Quite looking forward to it now for the regular season.

Was a good atmosphere in the east today and some new songs too. Roll on the 5th under the lights

I thought games would be ruined by closing the north stand this season but i think it might be a positive, home & away fans closer together, more banter between the 2 sides. should be good.

Great atmosphere today. Hoped for along time the lads from east/north corner would move to south/East. Never got why they stayed at the north end so long were you couldn't ever hear them. Thanks to them the ground was united and the look on the New Zealand boys faces was of pure amazement at times. Sometimes fans wait for the team to pump them up and other times its the other way round. After yesterday I get the feeling it's going to be easy to pump this team up and we won't have to wait for something to excite us. Just seeing frank the tank in the famous black n white does that

As I am one of those lads (ironic considering my name), the north east corner was just where we liked to be sat, close to the away fans to give banter etc. We was fairly annoyed that we had been let down by the SMC at the beginning but as we got going in the south east, it really picked up and created a great atmosphere. It was great to see fans from South stand and the other side of East joining in and I think it was a great starting point for the season ahead.

I know you enjoyed giving the away fans stick but hopefully now you can see its far better the full east and south giving it to them. I now think the north closing could well be a blessing in disguise if sunday anything to go by. Keep up the good work lads.

I've also had confirmation from the club that a request has been submitted to relocate the Sky Sports screen for televised games to ensure fans are not moved on televised fixtures. The move is the start of something new and hopefully we can start to get a great home atmosphere which we have lacked for quite a few years now. If the derby friendly was anything to go by, we are off to a good start.
