i think if we all told the truth we all at some time get low and turn to drink ok not the right thing to do but we do silly things and then regret it when its too late good luck all the very best to you

The other people in the car shouldn't have let him drive, either.

Maybe they weren't in the car when he drove off, they could all of been out of the car when he got back in because no mention of anyone else being in the car for the second incident.
