Used to stay in Whitley Bay when i was on the road & there were some good digs there along the sea front. There were some good pubs too & Spanish City fairground of Dire Straits fame.
Mind you, the whole place could be in dire straits nowadays.

We stayed in someone's house this year using airbnb. Should be plenty within a good distance of the stadium on there.

Maybe it's a way of bringing the fans together. Wire fans could support Wigan when they face Leeds. Widnes fans could cheer the Wire when we play Cas. There could be pictures of fans from the 3 clubs, arm in arm, plastered across the media in an act of solidarity. In fact, we could have a multi club conga around the stand and in the concourse....
