Carlos was disappointing last week. Out and out half - excellent kicking, reasonable distribution, but lacked physicality - showed no signs of pace & rarely took the ball to the line, never broke it. This was a reserve grade game with a 35 year old Clint Newton as captain.
See him as cover for halves, full back & fingers crossed he develops/improves. If we view him as a starting centre then our recruitment has really gone off piste. He can't be expensive, best of luck to him.

Certainly has mixed reviews. I think we see him as back up stand-off.

He was disappointing but hard to form any opinion on just one game. You could have done worse than take a punt on Dane Chisholm. He has pace aplenty and a good short kicking game, but tended to go missing for large parts of the game though.
