And me. The forecast is for piffing rain. A childrens entertainer, downpours and a team who would rather be anywhere else than running the gauntlet of shame.

It is the win, not the where, that matters.
And all 'never' taunts inevitably only have a finite lifespan. While this one has had surprising longevity (I assume it started in the mid-80s), and I'm sure has become especially wearisome, it'd just get replaced by something else.
We had the 'no major final in nearly 30 years' thing, itself a variation on a shifting theme, now we have the '50-nil' thing for the forseeable. It is the cycle of poop. Not making a permanent commitment to any of these things is taught to apprentice taunters on day one.
'Thus I am tormented by my curiosity and humbled by my ignorance.' from History of an Old Bramin, The New York Mirror (A Weekly Journal Devoted to Literature and the Fine Arts), February 16th 1833.

Oops, I take it all back. Those Play Off defeats were much more embarrassing than your defeat on National (and International) TV.
Luckily for you, Leeds didn't turn up yesterday.
Good Luck in the Naughty Step League. If you win it, do you get a trophy? Will it be listed on your Honours Board? And most importantly, will there be a Civil Reception?
