Think you got wrong table Wilf, we was 6 clear of 5th place Cas.
We should still finish 3rd , def if we win last home game so will go away to Saints in playoff.
Fash and Downs both warmed up tonight but we're 18 & 19th man.
Poor game from both sides, KR went 70 mins between scoring opportunities and prob worst FC display I've seen this year. Yes you can blame lack of bodies but even the side we had out should have been good enough to earn the result, I the end KRs enthusiasm won them the game

Bit strange leaving Fash and Downs out when they're getting first team football. A disappointing result but since we won the previous 5 derbies and will finish top 3, pretty satisfying end for our academy. Think we'll get hammered at Saints with so many missing, mind, they're top dogs in the comp IIRC.
Good luck in the top 4 play offs. You deserve to be there. Would have loved to have seen the current crop of under 19s play each other at full strength but alas this season it wasn't to be. Over the 3 game series, you coming out on top with a positive points difference of 6 is a fair reflection of the games I have seen.
What is for certain is that although few of us want this "collaboration" at junior level, we will dominate Acadamy rugby from now on. Let's hope we both produce some superstars though....
Anyway, final bragging right to the Robins.

Yeh sorry Karl looking at wrong table looked at pre split one We'll finish third in 8's because whatever 4th place Warrington do points difference should guarantee us an away game at Saints in the play offs. Rovers win last night was their first in the 10 play -off games played. As RBA says THE CITY will have a strong merged academy next season and I guess questions will be asked if they don't sweep all before them, but its sad for the juniors to see the end of these derby's we've seen some passionate and great encounters between the two Clubs in the modern era.

Callum Smith played with a groin problem and illness, and Josh Wood with a sore back. I find it disgraceful that this was the case.
Best thing for Pearson was for Rovers to win on Wednesday, makes his little merger points seem less full of bullshit. Although I will say one thing, the three Derby games this year have been shocking in terms of quality.
Hull face Warrington a week on Saturday before the top four play-off, hopefully our first team lads will be back for that at least.
Wire beat Saints last night to draw level with yourselves, so whoever wins that game next week will play the semi final away to Saints, the losers will travel to Wigan.
