https://twitter.com/rflreferees Should be interesting tonight!!

My thoughts, Leeds got the benefit of the 50:50 calls, but the knock on in the lead up to Moons try shouldn't have been missed, it was blatant and the Leeds fans by were in total agreement.

Sometimes in games you get the decisions, sometimes you don't, so just get on with it. In truth we've all had our share of good and bad calls over the years, move on to the next game.

I think that's exactly the point Wane has missed.

Nor should Matty Smith's in the build up to the match winning try at your place.

Agree but Wigan should have had the penalty anyway for Hall holding onto Charnleys leg at the ptb.

Agree about the Moon try, but to say we got the benefit of the 50/50 calls is to ignore the two or three quite clear ball strips that Leeds suffered that were given as knock ons and the two occasions where Wigan players simply lost the ball and were awarded penalties. In fact, if you consider each offside, each laying on and each flop as a 50/50 then the fact of the matter is that Wigan were hugely favoured in the 50/50s. That the few Leeds benefited from turned out to be crucial has more to do with our teams relative strengths than anything else, because the officials gifted Wigan all the ball and field position you could possibly hope for.

IMO Leeds won despite the refereeing, not because of it.

Broadly I can agree with you, but have to point out that Wigan got one or two 50:50's in their favour. I genuinely believe that these little advantages one way or the other even out over the course of a season. I also see a relationship that suggests that the fans who think the ref always has it in for them support the worst teams, Wigan shouldn't be in that club. The most worrying thing from a Wigan point of view is that Wane can't let this go, he should have parked it after Mondays debrief and got on with trying too win the next game. One would be forgiven for thinking he was rattled and feeling under pressure.

I occasionally agree with my wife, even though I know I am 100% correct
It's easier to let her go away thinking she's right, when in fact it's to keep her quiet for an easy life.

The RFL have dealt with Wane in a similar way

"Hello, is that the RFL? It's Apeman Wane here. Sinfield knocked on, and the VR got it wrong"
"Yeah, You're right. Thanks for your call. Speak soon. Goodbye"

Would be nice for the RFL to man up and explain what Wane is referring to?. A few coaches have been fined this year for saying what they shouldn't.

The same Brian Mac who spat the dummy out in Perpignan live on tv , questioning the referees impartiality in relation to the penalty count a few seasons ago ?

That's right, every single decision.

I love that quote, sums up how little his opinion is worth.

Every single decision went against them...so presumably the two VR decision where Wigan were awarded a try went directly against Winging Wanes masterplan :-D
