Thompson in the centre?

I'd go for Talanoa and Sa in the Centres. I think Thompson struggles defensively in that position. I think he's much more effective coming off the bench and playing through the middle and middle edge.

It would have been tough competing in these 8's with a fully fit squad at our disposal but cupboard is looking extremely bloody bare now.

Lineham can count him self very lucky we have injuries in the outside backs, expect Sa to also play if so he us very, very lucky.

Well I hope we have some payback from those responsible for gifting Cas all those tries. Dave K is spot on when he says Lineham and Sa are lucky to be in the frame for Saints, likewise Rankin.

Certainly ironic that the three soon to be departees who had poor games last week will all likely retain their places due to injuries elsewhere in the squad.
