To me that team looked disjointed and rusty, but with 4 of our first choice forwards out, it was never going to go well.
I have to say, Logan is improving weekly, as is Michaels. A couple of howlers, such as the kick out on the full and Rankin's blob, but with the kids out there, we certainly did well to come back against a tough Cas side.

Only downside for me is having to listen to that stupid annoying woman in South Stand shouting, "Hurt em, Hull" every other tackle, or "Hit em hard, Hull". She may have Stevo-itis, I dunno, but I wanted to chuck a bottle of Coke at her, if it wasn't so expensive.

Crackling win today. Not perfect by any stretch, but I thought we were the better of the two teams (just).

Wattsy was immense again, Bowden I thought had a decent game too. rankin looked a threat every time he had the ball, which is important in a team with little attacking structure. The young lads showed up well today too.

No surprise Micheals has had his best two games since he's had a decent centre next to him. I know he's injured now, but if Logan gives them two opportunities to Lancaster, nobody would be catching him.

Judge me all you want. I'm so despondent re: the merger that I left at half time. I just don't have it in me to support what we're becoming. I know I'll get shot down by innumerable posters, but I can't see me following the club next season. Totally respect the rest of you that will though!

Certainly seems that way, but I just don't seem to be able to make myself care right now.
