We got more penalties as they were trying to slow us down, I'd Child or a stronger ref had been in charge we would have had more penalties and someone in the bin or change their style.
We should have held down more once we realised the reffing style.

Same the other way with off side. He wasn't great today but that wasn't the difference.
The thing that made you win was that you stuck with it to the end. After the schedule you've had your forwards had every right to be completely knackered late on and let things slip. They weren't perfect but they did enough to win.

club tried to get rid and he's insistent on staying put? Only thing I can think that'd be hinting at. I've heard Rovers were after him but we hear that about our best players every season.

Even more dominating than I thought and we should be wining by a lot m,ore than 7, with these stats, twice as many metres , 60 more carries, more offloads, breaks and carries. Goal kicking would have helped and two really soft trys from kicks.
Massive effort from Paea and Ellis, great effort by the left edge.
Also have a look at Tansey's stats, must be the worst I have ever seen and he missed touch on the penalty kick didn't he (Remember he doing it twice for Hull in one game)

Scruton, Simon, smith, godinet, Locke, kirmond, annakin, kirke, Owen, Malloy, washy into that I thought the young team and players who got a chance showed up well. Certainly hard not to be happy with that and I think that's the general feeling from wakey fans all round. Good to be in the position to be able to rest so many players, must have helped with the short turnaround, you can see Wakey are playing with no pressure and some of their fringe players are really trying to impress.
