I think selling Lineham is a big mistake. Club saying he wanted to leave but in that video interview not so long back he said he wanted to stay as long as possible. Top quality wingers are game changers and we cant just keep disgarding them because we think we might have the next big thing. Naughtons using us a stepping stone back to the NRL (ala Rankin) so theres no longevity in that and Lancaster still has a lot to prove And what is £125k - not a bloody lot really for a 22 year old at the top of the scoring charts and ex dream team player

It was 140K
I'd douby Naughton will go back to the NRL (You do realise he is from Bradford don't you?)
Lineham IMO is not a gamebreaker.
People can lie in video interviews.
I would rather he stayed, but if he wants to go, better to get this kind of money and have time to replace him, unlike the Briscoe situation.

If Asda mess up I go to Tesco.
Actually, I see Diogenes' point, and my comment was equally aimed at the mentality that fans 'shouldn't' stay away. Fans should be free to do whatever they like, and the club should be held at least equally accountable for fans choosing to do so instead of blaming fans. Equally though, this kind of outcome has to be accepted as a possible consequence.
Exactly, people stop coming and the club have to either sell or make cuts to cover the shortfall.
I imagne most of those saying selling Lineham is a mistake (Seb a couple of comments up, for instance & Ian P elsewhere) are the same ones who've publically turned there back on the club. A little ironic really.

Yet there are posters on here who stated transfer fees are dead, and if it was suggested to them about a player under contract at another club coming here they would throw a fit saying they will never leave their contract.
And before someone asks, transfer fees dont count on cap......

That doesn't make it the fault of those fans, though. Seems to be easier for some to have a pop at fans than question the club about falling gates, though.
