Yet his main critic is conspicuous by his absence, not able to give credit after a good display but continually knocking him is poor form from a so called supporter.

Yeaman did very well, made some very telling tackles and took his tries well, up until yesterday though he really hasn't been at the races and I still wouldn't offer him a new contract unless it's on very much reduced terms and he's prepared to be a squad player. As others have said, in his pomp he was a top player, one that I shouted for on the VT with regard to England selection, only a bit of guile missing from his armoury from being a real world class player.
It's great that he bagged the 150, no doubting his commitment to the club and his ability in the past but I think it's time we sorted out a starting 13 replacement.

Forget his trys yesterday - he just seemed to actually run a lot harder and put himself about which is basically his game. Yeamo plays a simple game, he's never been the ball handling, great step type of centre and yesterday he just did what he does so well. But he needs to do it all the time, he's been a passenger all season.

Had a very good game, pretty much always does against Rovers. Now that he's shown he's still capable of games like that he needs to take a good look at himself and question why he hasn't been doing it more often, though. Is it really what some of us have wondered before and that without his place being under threat he lacks enough motivation until a derby comes around?
Surprising that such a rubbish player is always the first choice of whichever coach we have. People talk about him having a poor season but so has everyone else going forward, but his defense is rarely in question - and I don't mean against kicks where any defender is on the back foot. Now that the pack is back and the halves have more space behind them, perhaps he will have a chance to score some tires and provide some assists (sorry, forgot, he can't pass).
