Maybe Radford could have handled the Lineham thing differently BUT he has being caught out more than once before (Catalans at home springs to mind when they scored unopposed with hi out of position), also got run over by Carney far too easy in the away game. He's great in the air though and strong at the line going forward, he isn't a speed merchant though, I don't know why people think he is?? Will we keep him, I actually think it's not as clear cut as some think.
It's easy to bag Micheals for his try scoring (actually 2 tries) but given how little we actually scored early doors that doesn't surprise me, especially given he's had sod all to work with. Add in the fact he's a top tackler amongst the backs/game (half as many again as Talanoa), makes very few errors and is always a willing dummy runner/foil I think he is worth his place ATM.

The two players who should be feeling the pressure to perform and show some attacking threat are Yeaman & Michaels as their try scoring return this season is pitiful.
Yes Lineham made a couple of mistakes but if he is going to punish players for mistakes and drop them, then it should count for all of players.
Yeaman made no attempt to whatsoever to deal with Ratchfords kick or the advancing Monaghan, also against Cas there were two or 3 occasions that he came out the line and missed the player leaving a massive gap which so nearly cost us dearly. As for Michaels he's ok but thats it nothing more (waste of an oversee's spot imo) and doesnt offer what Lineham or Naughton do. The same goes for Yeaman when comparing him with Talanoa & Sa.
Would much rather see Lineham & Naughton as our wingers with Sa & Talanoa as the centres and think that is our strongest backline both in an attacking sense and defensively.
Agreed. On form has to be that way.

Saints halfs will be turner and burns so if we can get at burns early on I don;t see much coming from them. We have to match them in the forwards and hopefully we will have enough to win it. Will be a tough, tight game IMO but hopefully we will come through. This week and the magic weekend are 2 very winnable games which may well define our season. 4 points and we'll be confident of taht top 8 place, any less and we're looking over our shoulder again.
Agree with jake about the forwards battle, it's the first time in years I've thought our halfs are better then saints, if the forwards go well Sneyd & Pryce will go well for us. #COYH.
