Really enjoyed the game and the contrast in styles. As expected Hulls bigger and more physically mature side marched Rovers down the pitch and had a big chunk of the territory but we defended our line well. Rovers really should have held out for the win but it was a quality play by Logan and HTW to score the late match winning try so I have no complaints.

How did Liam Harris go, presumably outplayed HTW and Dean based on your appraisal?

Dean is a busy, industrious player but not in the same class as HTW or Harris. Harris outplayed HTW today and caused more problems with his kicking game which surprised me. Harry had the last laugh though.

Didn't think much to Harris tbh, but I don't watch him regularly. HTW wasn't as involved as much as he could have been, but what he did do was in a different class to anything the Rovers halves managed. Two bits of class won us the game.
Not sure I agree with your physically more mature point either, your props looked fat & lazy. Your left winger & Centre were woeful and you scored your tries through two penalties and because Dean cramped up and couldn't make the tackle.
As I said earlier, on another day we'd have scored 50. Lucky for Rovers we were dire ourselves.

So how good is htw? Best half in the u19 comp? How far off the first team is he?

HTW on his day is by far the best in the comp, but he's only just turned 18 and I personally think he's at least 18 months off SL. Would like to see him go dual reg next year.
