Quote:A Rugby Football League spokesman confirmed it had not received any request to postpone the game but said Salford could ask for dispensation under the salary-cap regulations to bring in additional players on short-term loan arrangements.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

I thought that there full wages go on the cap if they play. That'll bust the cap you'd have thought.

Try looking at the previous post.

As if. Operating within the cap has hasn't exactly been an issue with Salford up to now.

Good to see Radford has dropped the players mentioned last week.

How Michaels and Yeaman get a game before Naughton is unbelievable.

This would be my team from that squad, but it wont be.

Shaul
Micheals
Talanoa
Rankin
Lineham
Pryce
Sneyd
Watts
Cunningham
BTW
Mini
Sa
Abdul

Houghton
Thomspon
Feka
Whiting (Good to have him back)

That adds up to 4 players not in their current 29 man squad.

Junior Sa'u, Josh Griffin, Michael Dobson, Tommy Lee, Liam Hood, Wayne Godwin, Adrian Morley and Luke Menzies still missing through injury.

I wouldn't expect all of BJB, Kevin Locke, Jay Walton, Adam Walne and Jordan Walne to play either as all are not 100% and have/are under going late fitness tests today and tomorrow.

Which leaves Rangi Chase, Weller Hauraki and Cory Paterson missing through suspension whilst Jon Ford and Brad England are on loan and cannot be recalled to assist.

No recognisable stand-off or hooker named in our 19 man squad.

Make that 3 players, as their squad numbers actually go up to 31.

Was thinking the same thing Dave. And this is just one of the many reasons we as a club are failing and the fans are getting so despondent. He suggested that six or seven players didn't perform last week but he only makes four changes?!
