I wish someone would have started a petition like this when I was younger about our milkman, he was a terrible time keeper, didn't used to get my breakfast till teatime some days! Pfffttt Signed it anyway just incase AP does pop on this forum.

Bol lux!
Some of the greatest people in history have been poorly educated (not that im saying Knockers is of course). To criticize the whole thing on the basis of a few spelling mistakes says more about the pathetic nature of some posters than the OP. Do you pick up the club program or fanzine and start checking it for spellings so you say how bad they are too?

I never said that he was poorly educated either, just that his rant on the petition is poorly constructed. Why should people take it seriously when he couldn't be bothered to?
Anyway isn't it time you said you were finished with the club. Again.

On second thoughts, don't you worry yourself petal, I'm just glad you seem bothered enough to keep checking in and bumping my petition to the top of the board It's posts like yours that do all the work for me and as a bonus keep me entertained, and if you think this petition is as important as a job application good for you, I'm sure you have very high standards, I applaud you in fact keep up the good work, there's a good chap/chapess
Errlee Berd wrote:Exactly. It's a public statement which is aimed at garnering support and ultimately making a difference. I don't disagree with the methodology, petitions can make a difference, but how can anyone expect this one to be taken seriously when the statement is so badly written? Not just the grammar or punctuation, but the rhetoric, the tone, the points that are badly made.
The poster who made it has been writing the same level of claptrap on here for months and rarely has anyone agreeing with him.
Oh, you were doing so well with your useful post from earlier on, I really appreciated the fact you took the time to point out my spelling mistake, very generous of you. However you've gone back to your old ways of writing drivel (it must be catching on here) but I do appreciate that you've become one of my flock or should that be groupie's There's a fair few of you now following me around and mentioning my name wherever I go, it's heartening to think that so many people love me, no really, you must do, the amount of attention you crave from me Oh yeah, the petition, I'm sorry you don't like the method used to 'garner support', however you misunderstand or just failed to read my previous post. There is no intention to garner support, so you're in error on that one love, as for the grammar, punctuation etc, yup, as stated I made a couple of errors, was it that big a deal, no, not to me because the petition wasn't that important as I've said a few times. If you don't like the tone and how I've written it that's up to you love but I'm glad you read it, does it contain rhetoric, some, are the points badly made, I'm not sure they are, they seem pretty clear and obvious what's being said don't you think darling? Of course you are free to proof read it and transmit to me a better version but I would insist on you not plagiarising it if you wish to get your own petition going, I don't mind 2 petitions going at the same time tbh and if you gets more sigs then I'd be stoked for you.
As for your final point, I don't come onto the forum for approval from anyone, if you need it that's ok by me but I'm able to stand on my own two feet babes, how about you? I've had several personal messages that are in conflict with your presumption that no-one or should I say rarely agrees with me, again, whether anyone agrees with what I write I don't frankly care. Lastly I'd like to say thank you for your efforts in ensuring this thread is once again bumped to the top every-time you reply, it's very much appreciated

I know, it's epic isn't it, you are a very quick reader, such a shame your reply was limited this time as my reply took me ages to write (I had to make sure my grammar and spelling was better than last time you see!) I don't mind you stalking me hun and I can understand you're a bit awe struck from your one word response, just make sure you mop up after yourself ok, we don't want a health & safety situation whilst you're writing your petition out

I have no personal feelings towards you as I don't know you from Adam. My opinion of what you post is based on what you post - nothing more, nothing less. Similarly with your petition, my opinion that it's a poorly written rant is based entirely upon it being a poorly-written rant. My opinion that it's a waste of time is based upon prior experience and it being a poorly-written rant.
Simples.

cool, thanks for clarifying your opinion, inaccurate as it is. It wasn't a waste of time, it filled a small time slot and slaked my need to write something, the bi-product of which was to get emails forwarded onto the club and for me to start a thread. You and others clearly misunderstood or maybe I wasn't clear enough from the outset as to what the main goals were, tbh there weren't any, I was just filling in some time, I basically repeated what I'd said on here. You failed to read the rest of my posts. I think they make it clear I wasn't expecting any response from the club never mind any actual action to remove Radford.
If you think it was a badly written rant that's fine, yet you nor anyone else who've said similar have explained why it is either badly written or why it is a rant - it clearly isn't a rant but I guess going by the modern internet forum based interpretation this would qualify It's an accurate description of the situation, nothing more, that isn't a rant in my books. Your opinion of what I've written and how I've written it seems pointless and a waste of time with regard to the topic especially since neither you nor anyone else can offer an explanation as to why you think that opinion has any credance? Add onto that multiple posts by the same people criticising one spelling mistake and a couple of grammatical errors which again is lame in extremis, utterly pointless and contributes zilch to the thread under discussion.
If it isn't personal why do said posters constantly feel the need to derail every single thread I start or reply in such a manner every time I (& others) post an opinion & in turn derail those threads?

My initial response on this thread was to someone who stated that your e-petition was 'better than moaning on here'. I only started responding to you when directly addressed. At no point have I offered an opinion on what you yourself may or may not have intended - largely because I don't care.
Since you've admitted many times that you never expected a result from the petition and didn't set it up to achieve one, simply using it as an alternative means of expressing your displeasure at the current situation, I guess I categorically win the initial argument. Many thanks for your assistance.

And therein lies your problem. You are unable to critique your own writing or distinguish between fact and opinion.
