I'm salivating at the thought of this kicking off Thursday morning. Willie Mason starting at prop for Manly. Josh Hodgson got the starting gig at 9 for the Raiders. Blake Green as Cooper Cronk's halve partner. Tuivasa Sheck taking over at full-back from Mini's bro. The Flying Scotsman at the Knights. Watching how Tomkins, Graham, Widdop, Cooper and the Burgess brothers go with another season on their backs.
Just hope the season opener isn't too good b'cos we've gotta go to the KC later in the day.

Quiet first half for the seasons opener. 29 degrees and 80% humidity inside Suncorp. Bit of difference from the Bunnies last competitive game at Langtree Park.
Can see Bunnies winning it again this year. When they´re on, they´re untouchable. Oh, and they have GI.
Broncos will offer more with Bennett there, and Milford with Hunt who´s coming off the back off a good season last year. Roosters without Mini and SBW, but the usual quality from them. Be interesting to see the Cronk and Green partership at Storm as well. Really hope Crooks goes well, if/when given the opportunity. I laughed when I heard Hodgeson was going to the NRL, will also be interesting to see how he goes.

Looks like Wayne Bennett has plenty of work on his plate.

Good win for Newcastle coming from behind to beat a Tomkins-less Warriors. I like the Knights. Blue-collar club, no bigshots, conducted themselves with great dignity over last years Alex McKinnon tragedy, and they have the Flying Scotsman.
Oh, and I played a large chunk of last nights +12 Wakefield winnings on the Knights at 12/5 when they were losing at ht.
