Rememeber when we "signed Rangi" wasnt he missing for a week or 2 from Cas due to popping to court down under?
Why cant the player take 2 weeks unpaid leave and see whats doing, after all, thats all it is, hes innocent isnt he? he goes to cop shop, tell them he was with his lass on the times of the events and its all gravy, we get a player back after a coulple of weeks who can continue to warm the bench
No doubt the sock fillers will be happy to fund his hiding here

Whether he's guilty or not, how can his mind be fully on playing with this hanging over him? If he's innocent, go home and get it dealt with, even if it takes a few weeks.

Agreed. Club can't force him to go back presumably though.
The problem (for him) is that if he goes home, he'll be charged, and it will then be up to him to prove his innocence. That might take years. If he really is innocent, then what's the answer?

Something as big as this isn't going to a few weeks . If he goes back , I doubt we'll see him again .
