For me, if result is another disaster its time to sack the board

Hoping for another Cougars fix today , fingers crossed.

Only a friendly so fesult not just as important but
the story changes when bad results start making a difference.

I've seen us have storming wins in the friendlies then go on to a poor season.

Would far sooner us loose but be fit, ready and effective come the season proper.

I don't believe our favourites tag is valid, but that's down to the players to get "up" for every game, not just the big ones. It would be a disaster for the club to miss out on promotion in the manner we failed last year.

I am looking forward to the season though.

Well, the last quarter was OK-ish but why is it we seem totally incapable of defending our line?

We are from Keighley. We are NOT Bradfordians.

The last 20 minutes were ok ish but the rest of the time was pretty woeful ,,
As previous poster says , the defence was shocking

Not sure the decision to sign D. March was the right decision ,totally underperformed again and not showed anything but indicipline so far .

A lot of work needed before the season proper starts.

Although I am now a distant supporter, I fail to understand why Paul March has failed to do anything about our seemingly inability to score the first points, which means that we are always playing 'catch-up rugby'.

10 nil down after 6 minutes today but 26-32 final score.

What is wrong?

We should never be in this position, nor should we have been in the bottom division this season. Forget the pathetic application of the 'Dual Registration Rules' by the inept RFL, there were three games last season in which we should have ensured our survival and far better fuding but it was down to the players (and possibly refereeing decisions) which ensured our relegation. Why does it appear that we are incapable of starting like our opponents? Who is to blame?

Whatever the problem it needs to be resolved sooner rather than later.

By the way, what are our odds on being promoted now?

Could 'The end be nigh'?

Today was quite average but results in friendlies are not important.

Soon be Monday.

It seems to me that the coach and players who successfully got the club relegated last season are achieving the same high standard again.

If that is the agreed standard then I agree with Halifax Cougars that if the Swinton game was quite average then at least everyone knows already what the season ahead holds.

Leaguefan are you saying a pre season friendly in February is an indication of how this season is going to pan out? Chill out relax and everything will be ok.

Soon be Monday.
