I'm predicting a NO vote.
Probably the way I'd go if still residing in my nation of birth.
Unfortunately though, think it may inadvertently strengthen Cameron and his parties hand.
I can't see them losing the next election due to the ineffectiveness of any opposition.

Just had £10 on a "No" vote with 60.01-65.00 spread @ 8/1

"Arguably the best Rugby League side certainly in the last 40 years!" Phil Clarke.

Bookies are pretty confident of a NO vote.
1/4 best available.

David Cameron to be seen in a kilt before polling day - 25/1 (Ladbrokes).
Kim Jong-un to visit Scotland before polling day - 500/1 (Ladbrokes).
Turnout over 90% - 8/1.
Trident to be based in Scotland on Jan 1st 2020 - Yes 1/4 - No 5/2.

Go for it Scotland and finally have independence and then you'll not have to suffer this vile Government in England and Wales.

It is up to local counting officers to decide whether to request a recount - but only after they have given the provisional total to the chief counting officer.

There is no provision in law for a national recount."

It would be interesting to see how that process would stand up to an incredibly close result, say a NO vote by a few hundred.

Would it be a case of "Skip the recount go straight to the legal challenge"?

They would probably have to quell the riots first though.

As someone who is utterly sick and tired of being governed by an establishment based in London operating for the benefit of the City of London and corporate interests in tow with corruption and financial spivvery, I'd be voting YES at the first opportunity if I had the chance.

If Scotland do vote YES, can they please take the North of England with them? Please? Pretty please?

The polls suggest a close vote in favour of NO but that would still be a huge kick in the teeth for the establishment and not nearly enough of a mandate to dominate Scottish affairs from afar.

Alex Salmond is only marginally less vile than his Tory counterpart. And some of his cronies in the SNP are plain bonkers. It wouldn't be as much of a trade-up as many seem to think.

Well I'm booked for a site visit to Grangemouth at the end of this month so hopefully the English Home Office will have their border checkpoints in place by then, I'm looking forward to not being let back in.

Just watched Gordon Brown on SKY give an awesome performance at a NO rally. Talk about a transformation! Gone was the tired figure we saw leaving Downing St, and in its place was a totally reinvigorated man.

This was an old style barn storming Labour Politician, giving it the full monty of blood and thunder......and I have to say, I was more than a little impressed! Michael Foot would have been proud. And if that doesn't convince the waiverers, then nothing will.

Which kinda begs the question...why was that very nice, but very straight middle class chappie Alistair Darling ever allowed to publically debate with Salmond? Who is simply Rab C Nesbitt in a suit, and kicked the booty out of Darling a couple of weeks ago, and got the YES campaign back on track.
