That hurt today. Some of the tries were comical. Vea, Cunnngham, Farrar, Solamona, Moore look good players but there is no team defensive structure. The forwards are not big enough to allow the backs the time to play.

Sorry guys but i can't see any way you will stay up, a majority of your players just aren't good enough. And believe me i'm one who would like to see a successful team in London. But it is probably rebuild time in the championship. There are a few decent performers in there but overall i can only see 2 or 3 wins at absolute best this year. But if your young players can keep picking up the experience at the top level this year then it will leave you in good stead for the future.

BroncOnIon...point out where I got my facts wrong...here's the ENTIRE conversation for you.....feel free to proffer an apology once you've sobered up

meliferra wrote:Interesting that a 10k leaflet drop was done for the area around the hive for tomorrows game.

jbuzza wrote:With a good offer ?

gutterfax wrote:Good stuff. Needs to happen for every game for the next 5 years and everyone who takes up the offer needs to have their data collected and their feedback sought. Alas, if the past is an indicator, it will happen once more and the be written off as a bad idea!

meliferra wrote:I've been trying to find out but so far no joy,.I've already said on twitter that unless the incentive is more than just telling people that there is a game I cant see it having much effect on numbers.

gutterfax wrote:Sticking posts in the ground and announcing a kick off time is standard marketing practice for the club. You'd hope that they would have given a decent incentive with a monitored call to action if they've spent a grand or so doing this.

BroncOnIon wrote:Do you know that they've done nothing else locally?

gutterfax wrote:Are you saying they have?

wire quin wrote:10000 leaflets posted it says on FB

meliferra wrote:Harrow Observer has had a full page spread for the last couple of weeks. A friend runs the admin at the shopping centre in Edgware and I know the Hive do occasional marketing exercises there.

BroncOnIon wrote:Yes, it's a bit difficult for gutters to notice that kind of stuff from 12,000 miles away.

gutterfax wrote:Indeed.......but the resultant attendances are there for all to see

Oh....on the last point. 1,017 is the result of putting flyers in letter boxes and ads in the papers. That's not marketing,,,,,,,that's advertising.

Great shout re our forwards not being big enough. They need to bulk up a lot to protect our backs and enable em to utilize their fast feet and skill.

Officially the lowest SL crowd for the London team in 19 seasons.........gus must be on a bonus now whilst tone rea and the team will be looking towards the 3rd set if 4 games for that elusive first win.....Leeds castleford and saints will loving murder us

Yeh, totally agree about more incentives needed to get new fans. You can bring a horse to water but can't make it drink it without an incentive right........

We need to be thinking outside the box more to get in more punters despite results. Ie: making it a matchday experience .

Thinking outside the box  Making a matchday experience is hardly rocket science and something the club had done for years.

Gus Mackay we salute you!!

Getting new supporters in the current situation is not an option. Magically getting Barnet's 1500 fans likewise. The question is how do WE get those who have stopped coming to watch us again. I say we meaning the supporters; we have a pretty good idea of what the rump Broncos organisation can do about this.
